The Shrine of Lolth

[Kazumi Madoka Kage]

*kazumi removes her boots and places her cloak just outside the enterance to the shrine, she enters and begins muttering, her whole form seems to relax, like this was the only place she truely belonged. She removes her pendant and places it on the alter her head bowed the whole time*

*after finishing the prayer she raises her head*
it's good to be back home, thank you Dark Queen for guiding me home.

* she stands and bows deeply again and leaves*

[Mamoru Kage (old)]

*enters with a heavy heart and a face of stone and tension in every muscle. walk over to the shrine/alter remove sheathed short short sword and kneel placing the sword (sheathed) in front of knees and bow*

oh dark queen ...... why do i feel this anger to the weakened.
grief is grief it cannot be controlled ...... yet ..............

guide my thoughts strengthen my resolve ......
* raise from the bow stay on Knees look to the alter/shrine look through it and beyond hands placed on lap*

*kazumi enters very quietly with years of practice, she then leans against a wall watching Mamoru in his trance like state, her face emotionless, but her eyes swimming in thought, she just just stands and waits for Mamoru to notice her*

*eyes still forward and unfocused speak in a voice slightly whisperish*

times were little one you would have jumped me to test my reactions and to see how close you could get.
you so grown up now that the fun and games are of the past?? My lady


*eyes retun to focus and in one swift movement jump to feet sword in hand turn on toes to face Kazumi sword and sheath away hands free hands and in front of body palms out eyes lowered *

you've got faster i see *she grins at mamoru whileshe fingers her Lolth symbol*
i guess i have grown up alot...these things do alot to you when you have no one else to bear it with...
*she looks up her pale blue eyes turning a even lighter colour, she grins again*
and it's still Kazumi to you old friend...
i just have one question, how did you know it was me?

yes it has been awhile...... *rueful smile* how did you find us the old city is now lost to us ....

thanks to the kitsune we have this city they have their ways of confusing and bewildering you entirely step carefully with them tyhey think they are above all but they are young in age and just like youngsters think they are immune to every-thing

i am hoping now, that in miso anger and pride will manifest in him and not this self pitying he needs to focus. how he expects to talk to mei-lin when she is dead....... *shake head in resigned regret* ... i know not

*she watches Mamoru leave and then shakes her head*

seems they're not the only ones who need to grow up

*Kazumi then pulls some insence from up a sleeve and places them on the altar and lights them, the room is then filled with the smell of cinamon*

not the norm Dark Queen but hopefully they will please you all the same

*she then kneels before the altar and says a silent prayer*

*enter and advance to the alter, kneel, remove sheathed sword from belt place it on the floor in front of my knees. lay hands palm down on the floor either side of the weapon bow low to the alter in prayer raise (still kneeling) place hands on knees enter a trance like state of meditation*

*bow low raise return weapon to belt and leave for the surface

[HandMaiden]

The HandMaiden briefly steps from the shadows, turns to gaze upon the altar and with a snap of her fingers lighted insence begins to burn.

[Mamoru]

*Mamoru enters silently and unarmed, kneels before the alter and silently prays*

i hand my soul and body to your bidding my lady of the dark bless me and guide my path make my sword arm strong and my blades sharp......

* as silent as he arrived mamoru leaves*
