The Shrine of the Vixen

[Mie-Lin]

*mie-lin entres and kneels/bows before the shrine, and under her breath can her a song, written by the kitsune to for the greath vixen, she then raises her head*
Please Vixen, be am helpin' us through such hard times....
*she then gatheres up her white kimono and gracefully leaves, still with tears in her eyes*

[Chu-Mei]

[glow=green,2,300]Chu-Mei enters wearing her white kimono and whispers her prayer to the Vixen then can be heard muttering[/glow]
hmm silly peoples them following Loth Chu-Mei go and say words there too...

[glow=green,2,300]Chu-Mei stands and turns to face the corner where Loths shrin stands. Taking two steps over to that side Chu-Mei again wispers her prayer but this time to Loth[/glow]

[Miso]

*Miso sprints through the Shrine, desperately trying to drink from a bottle of black liquid, trying not to spill a drop*

*he stops for half a second to bow at the shrine of the Vixen, before sprinting off again as a cat bound in*

Great Vixen, please be letting Miso not beings caught by Cat!!!!

[Chu-Mei]

*A small fox that looks like it's grinning follows the cat and Miso through the Shrine.
It also stops and bows it's head to the shrine before continuing.*

[Miso]

*Miso enters the shrine carrying a large object wrapped in white silk*

*He walks upto the altar and reverts to his natural form. Then he lays the object very gentally down on the altar*

Great Vixen, Miso failed you. Miso not able to protect Mie-lin. She am taken and Miso doings nothing to stop it.

*tears begin streaming down his face, leaving a trail trough his dark fur*

She am bravest, and smartest kitsune Miso ever meetings, and Miso letting her die.

Miso not even ables to ensure she am goings to you. She am in hands of other Ancestor.

All Miso ables to do is protect her honour.

*He regains a little composure, but is un able to stop his tears*

Miso have no honour for lettings this happen.

But Miso swear Miso not rest until Mie-lin pattern am where it belonging, and Lyander am destroyed.

*He draws his wakizashi, it's blade glittering darkly in the low light of the temple, and lays it upon Mie-lins silk wrapped body*

*He turns and walks purposely out of the shrine, tears still streaming down his face*

[Chu-Mei]

*Chu-Mei runs into the shrine and slips to a halt just in front of Mei-Lin's covered body.

A mornfull cry can be heard all over the city as Chu-Mei falls to her knees *

[felicity]

Felicity enters the Shrine and inclines her head towards the altar. She sees the white silken draped still form and Chu-Mei on the floor.

"Chu-Mei, little one, I grieve for the loss"

Felicity fumbles in her bag and hands Chu-Mei a small square of cloth. Felicity knees down on the floor beside the grief-striken foxkin and puts her arm around her.

[Chu-Mei]

*With Felicity's hankie, help and comfort Chu-Mei slowly recovers some composure and gets stiffly to her feet helped by Felicity. Chu-Mei's face is still running with tears but she says a softly whispered prayer to Vixen which only Felicity can hear*

May her pattern stay pure and whole,
May her Honor stay as white as the Vixens tail tip,

*raising her voice Chu-Mei says*

She am my sister but Chu-Mei not speak her name till she am being revengeded Chu-Mei make this promise Vixen with Chu-Mei blood this am sealed promise*

*as she says the words she draws a dagger from her kimono and folding back her sleeve she makes a cut on her arm*

Chu-Mei will make same promise for every time Chu-Mei go to surface and not kill those who do this....this am Chu-Mei promice..


*With that she lays her dagger next to Miso's and walks out of the shrine and heads to her private den*

Chu-Mei change now Felicity you am returning to where?? Chu-Mei will meet you there..

*she waits for Felicity's response before walking away with her arm still dripping blood as she goes*

[Daichi]

*Daichi runs in and stops in front of Chu-Mei.*
*He doesn't say anything but looks at Chu-Mei knowing something has happened*

[Chu-Mei]

* Chu-Mei points behind her at the white covered form but says nothing*

[Daichi]

*Daichi is silent.*
*Daichi just stares at the body thinking to himself.*

How...how this happen?

[Chu-Mei]

*Chu-Mei looks at Daichi*

She am d..... *she almost gags on the word and changes what she was going to say* gone

*Daichi goes and kneels in front of the wrapped body.
Daichi mumbles quietly "i should of been there"

He stares down, then he draws a dagger. He cuts his arm and swears to avenge Mei-lin's death.
"Never again!!"

Daichi looks up, his eyes full of fury.
He stands up and starts walking out with eyes of fire.

[Daichi]

*Daichi stops next to Chu-Mei
"i know this isn't the time but Mamoru Kage will meet you in the tea room later"
Daichi takes a step and then stops again

Quietly Daichi says quietly: "if only he kn...."

Daichi then walks out and into the darkness

[Chu-Mei]

* Chu-Mei growls*

Him can wait there am other thingese that am needing doingese now

* still growling she leaves the shrine forgetting that she had been talking to Felicity*

[felicity]

Felicity waits a while in the shadows of the Shrine, watching silently as Daichi and Chu-Mei leave. She sighs deeply as she rises from the floor and turns to incline her head in silent tribute to the still form on the altar. As she takes a step she sees the light blood trail on the floor, slight red stains upon her white dress, and the trail leading out of the Shrine.

"Poor little one, taken so swiftly and so young. May you find peace."

Felicity slowly turns and walks towards the door.

"I will return to my private chambers at the Geisha House now, sleep little one, sleep"

Felicity leaves the Shrine

[nathaniel]

Nathaniel walks towards the shrine. Pausing outside he removes his hat and walks in head bowed.

He takes slow steps towards the altar.

"I mourn your passing. In the short time I knew you, I saw your passion for life. In your meeting people, seeking out new experiences and always I will remember in my darkest times here your compassion, which I knew you were discouraged from showing, but like all things from you shined like a light that brightened our lives as we spent time with you."

He kneels down.

"I am sure you are now in a place of happiness with new joys and I was honoured to know you"

From under his coat he produces a white rose which he places at the base of the altar.

A single tear rolls down his left cheek.

After several minutes of reflection he stands.

He steps backs and with a flourish turns and strides out.

*as the humans and foxkin enter and leave a man sit carving a small fox out of a black stone like rock he lifts it upto his eyes then blows off the dust then nodes and puts into into his pocket and head to the shrine and enters nodding toward the two shrines he walks over to the silk wrapped body and pulls out a silver flask and sits down side the body* well kid looks like your with your ancesters now *lifts the flask to the body then takes a long slow drink of sake from it*its a shame thought you have a few more years walking this road before traveling the next one but only the shaper know what we get in this life and you *looks at the shrine of the vixen* could you not have let her stay on a bit more i kind of like her yes she could be a pain in the ass and she thought she know all about the world but i liked her *pulls out the black fox and places it side the body*be seeing you kid there a few people who need to be showed the errer of there ways no one kills my charge *he stop at the edge of the door and whisper* or my friends *strides off waves of hate streaming off him as he gos to the training rooms to burn off his anger*
